Theme: Oklahoma Private Investigations
The best crime and mystery novels are situated in “place.” As you will see from these varied plots, mystery and investigation stories find a ready home in Oklahoma and provide a window on the character of the state.
When: The first Thursday of February through June at 6:30 P.M.
A scholar from the region will come to the museum to lead the discussion of each book.
Please read the book prior to the program.
During the series, we will read and discuss the following five books:
“The Old Buzzard Had it Coming” – Scholar Dr. Cowlishaw; “Letter from Home” – Scholar Russell Lawson; “Capitol Offense” – Scholar Dr. Christopher Owen; “Twisted Perception” – Dr. Andrew Vassar; “American Cafe” – Trisha Yarbrough
