WHAT: Thanksgiving Holiday Turkey Basket Distribution Drive-Thru event. Expecting struggling Tulsans to come in their vehicles to receive Thanksgiving food baskets from John 3:16 Mission. The food has been donated by individuals, churches and businesses in the Tulsa community. During the three-day event (Nov. 23-25), the Mission expects to distribute up to 5,000 Turkey Baskets (while supplies last).
WHERE: John 3:16 Mission Family & Youth Center 2027 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
WHEN: Monday, Nov. 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Distribution continues at same times on Nov. 24, 25)
“This event is what makes a traditional Thanksgiving meal possible for many people in our community,” said Rev. Steve Whitaker, President & Sr. Pastor of John 3:16 Mission. “The need is especially great this year because of the economic distress many families have experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
John 3:16 Mission donors and volunteers will be distributing the Thanksgiving Turkey Baskets Nov. 23-25 at the Mission’s Family & Youth Center. All turkeys and canned foods are being provided through a community wide food-raising campaign.
Due to COVID-19, this is a DRIVE-THRU DISTRIBUTION ONLY and safety measures will be in place. One Thanksgiving Holiday Turkey Basket per car only.
