ORU Theatre proudly presents William Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece, “The Tempest,” a mesmerizing and enchanting theatrical production that will transport audiences to a world of mystery, love, and redemption. This extraordinary production promises to captivate theatergoers, offering a truly unforgettable experience.

Shakespeare’s final play, and one of his most enduring works, “The Tempest” is known for its compelling characters and spellbinding narrative. The timeless story revolves around Prospera, a banished Dutchess who seeks to right the wrongs done to her by her deceitful brother Antonio. Stranded on a remote island with her daughter Miranda, Prospera orchestrates a series of astonishing events culminating in forgiveness and reconciliation.

Education and Engagement Sessions: Come early and join our director, Shakespeare experts, and production team artists as we discuss the play and production process! Discussions will be 6:45 pm-7:15 pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 1:15-1:45 pm Sunday.

Post-Show Social: Friday after the show to celebrate with our cast and crew!

Tickets: $5.00 students, seniors, and children/ $10.00 adults
