TULSA’S HOMELESS TO CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING BANQUET TUESDAY AT JOHN 3:16 MISSION

WHAT: The kick off of John 3:16 Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Banquet for the city’s hungry and homeless.  Thousands to be fed.

WHERE:  John 3:16 Mission, 506 N. Cheyenne Ave., inside New Life Hall

WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 6:15 p.m.

Great opportunity to show Tulsa’s hungry and homeless enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving meal provided by the caring people of this community.

The Mission and its volunteers — INCLUDING Tulsa City Councilors — will serve up to 300 homeless Tulsans at the opening night kick off of this event.  Over the course of the multi-night event, the Mission will serve over 2,500 Thanksgiving meals.  John 3:16 Mission has been providing meals, shelter and care to Tulsa’s hungry and homeless since 1952.  This year, the banquet runs from Nov. 26 – Nov. 30.  Meals are served nightly at 6:30 p.m.
