We all go through seasons of waiting. Whether we’re wondering what that next job will be, if there’s a new relationship coming our way, or we’re just looking for what’s next in life, everyone goes through times where it feels like all we’re doing is waiting. In the middle of those times, we have to return to the Word of God. It will always comfort us when we’re waiting for what’s next.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.
I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His Word, I put my hope.
