“Do I fear death?…No. I look forward to death, with great anticipation. I am looking forward to seeing God face to face. And that could happen any day.” (Billy Graham – Newsweek, July 4, 2005)
The homegoing of Billy Graham was celebrated on Friday, March 2nd, 2018, on KGEB TV 53. The service was broadcast from Charlotte, North Carolina, on GEB.
The private funeral service for Billy Graham will be held in a tent outside the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte. The tent symbolizes the “canvas cathedral” where Graham conducted his 1949 Los Angeles Crusade, which lasted eight weeks and propelled him to national prominence. Guests included family, friends, and dignitaries.
Franklin Graham gave the funeral message. Virginia “Gigi” Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, Ruth Graham, and Ned Graham spoke briefly. Other program participants include associate evangelists, musicians, and friends who have been part of the Billy Graham Crusades and the ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association worldwide.
